IWU Announces Updated Bachelor of Science in Management Degree Program
August 8, 2024 (Marion, IN) – Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) is pleased to announce an exciting new redesign to the Bachelor of Science in Management program. This program will now incorporate DeVoe Experience and International Student Program (ISP) elements, while emphasizing skill development in organizational management, including analysis, problem-solving, application of global perspectives, and more. This program is designed for practicing professionals seeking to enhance their ability to contribute to their careers for the sake of their companies and themselves.
This program will feature online and hybrid modalities with two separate start times. October 9, 2024, will mark the start time for the Kokomo regional center’s launch. November 19, 2024, will mark the online launch for the program. While the Kokomo regional center will be the first hybrid starting location, the program is designed to feature up to four separate starts per year, with different locations being chosen for each to maximize hybrid opportunities for students across regions.
The program will consist of 14 core courses and feature a price of $455 per credit hour. Students will also engage in training opportunities, with both paid and non-paid options available, and with some current professional employment positions being accepted. The program also provides a foundation for future employment to extend the academic experience with practical training. Speaking about this exciting program, Andy Hughes—Dean of the DeVoe School of Business—said, “Our newly revamped BSM degree presents fundamental business principles in a manner that empowers individuals of all backgrounds to seamlessly apply these concepts to their organization or business.”
