Update on Federal Student Aid Programs

On January 27, 2025, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) issued a memorandum instructing federal agencies to temporarily pause all activities related to the obligation or disbursement of federal financial assistance, including grants and loans, to ensure alignment with the administration's priorities.

We want to assure you that this memorandum does not apply to Federal Student Aid programs, including the Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG), and Direct Loans.
