IWU student Aurora Haybin discovered through prayer, critique, and creative practice that art is not only about making something beautiful, but about allowing God to shape the artist in the process. IWU alumna Kristen Luidhardt credits her Christ-centered education and mentorship at IWU for shaping the faith, leadership, and entrepreneurial vision that guided her success in business, politics, and public influence. IWU’s Civil Rights History course immerses students in the history and faith foundations of the Civil Rights Movement through a pilgrimage-style journey that deepens their understanding of justice, sacrifice, and Christian responsibility. For IWU National and Global alumni like Dora Sanchez and Karla Ontiveros, returning to school became more than a step toward career advancement—it deepened their calling, strengthened their faith, and expanded their influence in the lives of others. IWU senior Alice Lehr reflects on how everyday rhythms of community, study, service, rest, and prayer shape a deeper, more intentional relationship with Christ throughout campus life.
