Indiana Wesleyan University Welcomes Nicole Saint-Victor as the New Executive Director of Multicultural Learning and Engagement
July 10, 2024 (Marion, IN) — Indiana Wesleyan University and the Office of Diversity and Intercultural Integration are delighted to announce the appointment of Nicole Saint-Victor as the new Executive Director of Multicultural Learning and Engagement for IWU-National & Global. With robust experience and a vision for impact in this vital work, she moves into the vacant role and reports to Dr. Karen A. Dowling, IWU Chief People & Culture Officer.
Saint-Victor’s previous roles at Renovate and Trinity Christian College offered substantial experience in leading and training the development of higher education faculty in areas of leadership, employee development, inclusion, diversity, race, and reconciliation. She served as an Organizational Leadership Trainer through Renovate and as the Director of Multicultural Engagement at Trinity Christian College and looks forward to exercising her experience and strengths as a leader in nurturing and mentoring faculty and students so all can thrive academically and personally.
Dr. Karen A. Dowling, IWU Executive Vice President and Chief People & Culture Officer and former Executive Director of Multicultural Learning and Engagement is excited to watch Nicole Saint-Victor lead the National & Global faculty and students with intentionality and poise. She said, “Nicole’s heart for the vital work of Kingdom Diversity in fostering inclusivity, cultural understandings, driving positive change, and supporting an impactful culture of belonging will be a tremendous asset to our People and Culture Team and the University overall. This new appointment furthers the Kingdom Diversity mindset IWU strives to instill in faculty and students throughout the organization. Nicole Saint-Victor’s passion, commitment, and experience will further IWU’s values, hospitality, and strategic initiatives for representation, search advocacy, education and professional development, community engagement, and student support and retention.
