New adjustments for more affordable and faster MSN, Nurse Educator

MSN Nurse Educator program offers strong teaching skills for healthcare educators

June 6, 2024 (Marion, IN) — Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) is now offering a faster and more affordable track for healthcare educators through the IWU National & Global online MSN Nurse Educator program. The revamped program works well for the RN with an associate, bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree who wants to further his or her career as an educator. The Nurse Educator program may be completed as an associate or bachelor to master’s degree, or as a certificate program for those who already have a master’s or doctoral degree.

The Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Educator program through IWU offers online courses and the convenience of securing practicum sites near them. The program takes 18.5 months to complete, and the Nurse Faculty Loan Payment Program will pay 85% of tuition loans for full time faculty over five years, making the program extremely affordable.

Eileen Hulme, Chancellor of IWU National & Global, feels the program adjustments meet marketplace needs and stated, “Our expert faculty adjust programs as they assess of the needs of the marketplace and needs of our students then pivot to produce favorable results for both. This Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Educator program is equipping the next generation in healthcare through education, something we obviously feel very strongly supporting.”

The new program’s first group will begin on August 26, 2024. Faculty like Dr. Rosemary Fromer are excited for the refreshed program. She said, “This new structure is faster and more realistic for full time working professionals who want to take a lead or educator position in healthcare field. We are excited to start with this first cohort.”

Professionals who complete the program can take educator roles in almost every healthcare setting. To learn more about the MSN Nurse Educator program visit http://indwes.edu/MSNE
