IWU Partners with Nationally Acclaimed Trust Edge Leadership Institute to Equip Business Students with Trustworthy Leadership Certifications
September 19, 2024 (Indianapolis, IN) — A new partnership announced today by Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) and world-renowned and global trust expert David Horsager’s Trust Edge Leadership Institute (TELI) will provide masters and doctoral degree business students an opportunity to earn exclusive certifications in trustworthy leadership.
The announcement aligns with the mission of IWU’s DeVoe School of Business, Technology, and Leadership’s “commitment to transform the global marketplace through life-shaping preparation, helping students ask essential questions, explore their call to business as God’s work, and prepare for a fully integrated life of service.”

Through this partnership with TELI, IWU students will be introduced to the foundational "8 Pillars of Trust," which include Clarity, Compassion, Competency, Commitment, Connection, Contribution, Consistency, and Character. These qualities provide the framework for our emerging leaders to build meaningful and effective relationships within their organizations, teams, and communities.
Upon completing their degree, MBA students will be awarded a “Certificate in Trust Leadership” from TELI. Meanwhile, IWU DBA students will undertake an even more in-depth study of trust, culminating in them becoming fully “Trust Edge Certified” leaders. This certification will equip them to develop trust-building strategies within organizations, helping to foster environments of credibility, reliability, and ethical leadership throughout their careers.
