Indiana Wesleyan University Opens Registration for Wildcat Summer Academy 2025

MARION, IND. (Mar. 10, 2025) – Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) has opened registration for the annual Wildcat Summer Academy (WSA) this June 15-20. The academy, held on IWU’s Marion campus, is open to high school students entering ninth grade through graduating seniors.
WSA offers students a college-like experience, combining dynamic learning with enriching social interactions in a supportive environment. Participants develop new skills, engage with IWU faculty in thought-provoking ways, and explore their interests alongside like-minded students from across the country. The program also provides opportunities for students to deepen their understanding of the Christian faith within the context of their chosen area of study.
“Wildcat Summer Academy has been an important event at IWU for many years, and we’re excited to continue growing it this year with new camps and fresh takes on reliable favorites,” said Stenway Louve, director of academic youth programs.
Camps featured this summer will include:
- Art + Design
- Computer Science
- Engineering
- Forensic Science
- Music Therapy
- Nursing
- Social Work
- StoryLab
- Urban Farming
Faculty and student teaching assistants are eager to once again host these immersive experiences.
“Wildcat Summer Academy is always a fantastic occasion to work with talented students who are still figuring out their path,” said Art + Design professor Henrik Söderström. “Providing a space where they can explore their interests with their peers while growing in confidence and capability throughout the week is incredibly rewarding.”
Registration will close on May 16. Interested parties may reserve a spot by visiting indwes.edu/admissions/academic-youth-programs/summer-academy. For additional information, contact wildcatcamps@indwes.edu.
