Indiana Wesleyan University’s DeVoe School Launches AI-Powered Executive MBA With Oxford Experience

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 14, 2025) — Indiana Wesleyan University’s DeVoe School of Business, Technology and Leadership is launching an AI-powered Executive MBA (EMBA) program in August, designed for senior managers, experienced leaders, and aspiring C-suite executives. This 30-credit-hour program integrates business, technology, AI, and leadership through a combination of practical application and faith-based learning.

The degree can be completed in less than 18 months and includes a weeklong intensive at Oxford University. The program is primarily online but includes optional in-person sessions in Indianapolis, with livestreaming available for those who cannot attend.

The EMBAi’s curriculum emphasizes gaining efficiencies through AI, with embedded AI tools integrated into course content to support learning.

The program was developed with input from Indianapolis-area business leaders, many of whom serve on the newly formed DeVoe School Business advisory council. Their feedback underscored a critical need for executives who can effectively use AI tools to gain competitive advantage. The EMBAi addresses this need through immersive learning and real-world application.

The program also offers a comprehensive framework to navigate today’s complex business landscape. By bridging the often siloed gaps between business, leadership, and technology, the EMBAi equips executives to shift from hands-on roles to high-level strategic leadership.

“The next generation of executives must be equipped with more than just theoretical knowledge — they need practical, real-world experience, the ability to lead change, and expertise in leveraging AI for organizational success,” said Dr. Andy Hughes, dean of the DeVoe School. “This EMBAi program was designed with industry feedback at its core, ensuring our graduates are prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.”

A key feature of the program is a weeklong immersion at Oxford University, scheduled for Aug. 10–16, 2025. As part of the Entrepreneurial Leaders Organization Leadership Program in Oxford, England, students will engage with global thought leaders, Oxford faculty, and Christian business executives for international leadership insights.

Enrollment is now open. For more information, visit the DeVoe School webpage.
