IWU Announces Exciting Partnership with Cincinnati State

MARION, IND. (Jan. 27, 2024) — Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) and Cincinnati State Community and Technical College are proud to announce a new stage of their exciting partnership which aims to streamline the process of earning a degree and build important connections between our university and Cincinnati State.

Through this cooperative effort, Cincinnati State Community College System students will be able to easily transfer to Indiana Wesleyan University, including being able to transfer up to 90 credits towards an online Bachelor of Science degree, receiving a 15% discount on all online bachelor’s and associate-to-master’s programs, and a special $250 per-credit-hour rate for RN-BSN students.

Through this partnership, IWU and Cincinnati State intend to broaden the scope of higher education, making it more attainable for students desiring to earn their degree online. Through this partnership, students who begin their academic journey at Cincinnati State will be able to complete their associate’s degrees there, before then transferring on to IWU to complete the remainder of their bachelor’s degrees through online courses.

Speaking about this exciting partnership, Vice President of Strategic Enrollment and Partnerships Andy Miller shared, "IWU is proud to establish a partnership with Cincinnati State. Together, we are expanding access to higher education, creating pathways to rewarding careers, and supporting the growth and success of students and the region. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to empowering lives through education."
