Indiana Wesleyan University Accredited by National Organization for Financial Integrity

MARION, IN (May 6, 2025) – Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) has received official accreditation from the Evangelical Council for Financial Integrity (ECFA), a national organization recognized for promoting financial integrity among Christ-centered institutions.

The accreditation affirms IWU's commitment to transparency, ethical governance, and responsible financial stewardship. The ECFA's rigorous accreditation process evaluates an institution's financial policies, fundraising practices, governance, and alignment with biblical principles.

“Receiving ECFA accreditation highlights IWU's long-standing commitment to ethical financial management and accountability,” IWU President Dr. Jon Kulaga said. “It provides assurance to our donors and partners that we are stewarding resources with integrity and purpose.”

IWU joins a network of accredited Christian organizations that meet the ECFA's high standards of financial oversight. The university will maintain its accreditation through an annual renewal process and ongoing compliance reviews.

This milestone underscores IWU's mission to provide transformative education while upholding the highest standards of financial responsibility.
