Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) is excited to announce the reconstructed online Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program tailored for working Registered Nurses (RNs). This innovative program aims to provide flexibility and convenience to individuals who are already licensed as RNs, allowing them to elevate their nursing career in as little as 12 months while balancing work and life commitments.
The 12-month program is divided into 4 terms, including breaks with 8 core classes (30 credits) and additional general education requirements. The estimated time commitment is about 10 hours per week, depending on the student. Classes are delivered with diverse learning opportunities including discussions, quizzes, interactive activities, videos, and learning games.
The only admission requirement for the program is an unencumbered RN license. Completion of the program offers advancement in a nursing career through positions like shift leader, charge nurse, staff nurse, or further education like MSN or DNP program tracks.
Career projections for nurses holding a BSN is robust with more than five million unique job postings and over 60,000 employers actively recruiting nationwide. The median national salary for an RN with a BSN is $81,300.
The RNBSN program offered through IWU is unique in its faith-based approach for academic and personal growth with professors who are highly qualified with practical healthcare experience. Our professors become mentors who support student success. For more information on completing a BSN in as little as 12 months, visit www.indwes.edu/nursing.
