IWU Announces Fundamentals of Integrative Healthcare Graduate Certificate Program

September 25, 2024 (Marion, IN) – Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) is pleased to announce the Fundamentals of Integrative Healthcare Graduate Certificate program, launching this winter. This exciting certificate is for health professionals interested in learning about the possibilities of integrative healthcare. 

This graduate certificate consists of 4 courses over 8 months and is specifically designed to equip students with the skills to effectively integrate complementary health practices into allopathic healthcare. Graduates will be able to use their newfound knowledge to engage in health coaching, develop their own practice, or enhance their current practice.

Faculty are excited to be able to offer options to students who may be disillusioned with conventional healthcare. “Healthcare professionals often recognize that the current approach to health is not effective, but don’t know where to start to make an impact,” shared Associate Professor Penny Callaway while speaking about the program. “This program builds on your healthcare background and empowers students to make a difference in health care by approaching it holistically from a uniquely Christian perspective.”
