Looking into getting your online degree but scared of the financing? It's no secret that college is expensive. It can feel overwhelming to sit down and look at the numbers. Luckily, options exist to make paying your way through school more manageable.
Both undergraduate students and graduate students have many opportunities for scholarships as online students. Students enrolled in online programs have the opportunity to receive financial aid just like students attending in person. Whether you are a graduating high school senior or are ready to step into a graduate program there is a scholarship opportunity for you to begin online learning.
Private loans, federal grants, and payment plans are all great options for funding your education, but scholarships are money you don't have to pay back. Even for online students, scholarships are available based on regional qualifications, academic merits, programs of study, military service, and more.
Scholarship programs such as the academic excellence scholarship or college jumpstart scholarship are great resources for students looking for additional financial support. These programs were built to help more students attend college. These scholarships help to make finances not something that affects online students eligibility to get their degree.
Applying for scholarships like the ones below is a great way to start your journey of paying for college. Here are three great scholarship opportunities for online college students:
